The logo of the Ombudsman was agreed after consultations with the Government Printery, a marketing professional and a select group of individuals.

The colours red, green, gold are those of our national flag and what they symbolize to our people; while the contrasting grey of the shield speaks to neutrality and impartiality of the Ombudsman in carrying out the functions of the office.
The circles are representative of the Ombudsman as are seen in such logos internationally.
The Ombudsman’s role is to shield the people from injustice and unfairness in their dealings with public authorities.
The seven stars represent the seven parishes of the state of Grenada and therefore emphasize inclusiveness in the role
